(Please note; all the stories of this line are all occuring at the same time. Just so yew know~ And they happen much later on, a lil bit after the oriandan prophecy)
Blackflight laughed, a chilling sound that echoed throughout the whispering wind as she whipped around. Her eyes were full of insanity as she grinned, madness covering her heart and making her feel nothing, like a shield of thick plastic that whatever happened, never slipped off, and never let go. A large shimmering lake stood behind her, casting eerie shadows on the sandy ground as it lapped at her black paws with water that only told of the depth of its darkness. The night was dark, and hardly any of starclan shined bright tonight, besides one determined star that fell towards the north, persistantly shining for this one cat that had been shoved aside and beaten down one to many times. The bare forest was warm as a blast of hot wind flew from up the moors and down towards the warrior, whose insane grin did not falter flawlessly as reddish eyes glowed from the pale branchs and bushes among the hills. The luminous red eyes narrowed as the cat made himself present, carefully stepping towards Blackflight and avoiding the burrs that stuck themselves to the petty ground. The cats tabby coat stretched and shrunk back as the toms broad shoulders slunk back and forth, and although leery, his bright eyes remained calm. Blackflights green eyes had trouble adjusting to the nightlight though, for the moon was only the slice of a claw, so she could not get a food glimpse of his face from among the tall grass when he stopped a few fox-lengths ahead of her. The air between the two cats was singed with a kind of tensed awareness, and Blackflights head slunk down in slight curiousity to the cat. "What do you want?" she said, not bothering to keep the coldness from entering upon her voice as she stood, her paws squarely placed among the shore while she enjoyed the cold lapping of the water. There was a scream from across the distant shore, and surprised, Blackflight turned, her ears flattening and for the first time her grin faltering down into a silent protest once the recognized the voice. "You." spoke the tomcat, and realizing she was distracted from the death of one of her 'clanmates', he leaped onto the deputy, gripping onto her shoulder with his claws and digging his teeth into the soft part of her neck, biting through and then flipping off of her. Blackflight gasped as a distant shudder passed through her, the taste of salt gushing up into her mouth. Never before had she meet such a brutal cat! The way he stalked around hesitantly, the way his dark brown pelt shimmered, the scar that slatched down his left eye, how he had flipped off of Blackflight, this all reminded her of a cat, a cat she knew, but before she could place her paw on his name, the tom lunged at her, his teeth bared as he once again lunged for her neck. Defenseless and uncertainty making her look up, she was unprotected, and before she could move, the tom grasped her neck in a killing bite, sinking through her skin and into the artery that pumped from her neck. Scarlet bled from her throat and onto the ground, and the tom then threw her into the lake. Blackflight could not move, blackness edging her vision as fear gripped her in a paralysis. Please forgive me......she thought, drowning down into the deep water. Please.
