(i have started the duskclan book thing . I will do some of this and a lot of Solarclan)
Glorycall poked his head out of the warriors den, wincing and ducking back down as the bright sun blazed on. If the sun keeps on keeping this heat up, all the melting snow is going to flood our territory, he thought, his tail flicking to the side in worry. He shielded his eyes from the warriors den with his paws and peeked out of the den at Duskstar. "Is it really the time for anything when it’s this early and it’s hot?” he mewed, frowning. Duskastar’s back was sore from being uncomfortable last night. She stretched and exited out of the den. "I think its time!" Duskstar thought! "Well not right now silly goose" hissed Duskstar. "Besides, half of my body is half- shut-down" meowed Duskstar. Rosepaw frowned and covered her ears. She had been sleeping in the Smokesong`s den (she is sadly still being confined in there after the so many cuts she got from "The Fire") when she had heard cats yowling at each other, and the thought crossed her mind to yell at the unknown cats for getting up so early and managing to wake up every single cat in earshot. "You mean, you just woke up like the rest of us did?!" shouted Rosepaw from the medicine cats den, getting tired of Glorycall and Duskstar screeching at each other from across the clearing. Rosepaw rolled over to the side and hugged her tail close to her, pouting and too tired to do anything but sleep. Glorycall rolled his eyes from Rosepaw’s remark, smiled, and ducked himself back into the bramble covered den, settling back into his nest and taking after Rosepaw to catch some shut eye before the patrols began moving. Duskstar looks at the two cats sternly. "Cats and mornings" hissed Duskstar thinking of what to do this morning. "Well one thing for sure is that I have to figure out the warrior names fro who are going to become warriors" she thought to herself. Glorycall was awoken by a sharp prod on his side, and he grumbled and opened his eyes, wincing at the bright light of the sun and blocking it with his paws. "Ugh. What’s up?" he said, blinking and sitting up while shaking his fur out. "Were on the dawn patrol." yawned Spiderflame. "I think Snowstorm and Skypaw are with us too." Spiderflame yawned again and padded out, flicking her tail to the side to beckon him to follow. Rubbing his eyes, Glorycall mumbled "Alright..." and scooted around the paws and stray tails on the floor, only managing to step on one as the cat yowled in complaint.”Sorry." he hissed, shaking his head and then padding out into the dry center of the camp. "There you are!" snowstorm said sternly, she wasn't happy at all. "Where were you guys?! I’ve been waiting on you for like, ever!" she could see in Spiderflame, Glorycall, and Skypaw's eyes that they had just woken up. “oh well, let's go on what's supposed to be the dawn patrol," she looked at the two tired cats, "you know it's called that for a reason, right?". Glorycall smiled. "I think that’s the sole reason their tired." he replied, glancing at Spiderflame with amusement flashing in his eyes as she growled. "Shut up! Its no fair you never seem so tired." snapped Spiderflame, sticking her tongue out at him and then drawing away from the front. "I think its because I didn’t agree to keep watch last night and agree to be on the dawn patrol at the same time!" he said back, grinning and padding into the forest. "Come on, we got a dawn patrol and a crabby cat to take care of." he said to Snowstorm and Skypaw, grinning and then swishing his tail in a large arc to beckon them to follow him and Spiderflame. "It seems that every time i go on a dawn patrol, there's always and argument!" snowstorm thought. Glorycall looked around at the frost-covered trees, padding towards the border and following the pale orange sun in the sky. Snowstorm padded behind him, with Skypaw and then Spiderflame following after. "Anybody see or scent anything?" he asked, pointing his question to the three cats behind him. They then all agreed that there was absolutely nothing around them but the green stuff, and Glorycall sighed. "Let’s hurry up before this sun gets to us." he muttered after a long bout of silence, and he waved his tail and picked up the pace. Soon, he saw that the bushes around them were growing thinner and thinner, and he soon smelt the Duskclan and Lunarclan border. "What’s that smell?" snowstorm asked, noticing the scents of Duskclan and Lunarclan in their territory. Glorycall flicked his ears up and turned to Snowstorm. "What do you mean, other than the border? Nothing smells different..." he said, trailing off and freezing as he saw a flash of white out of the corner of his eye. "What?" Skypaw perked his ears. He felt like he was sleep walking. He smelled the air. his fur stood up on end when he too saw something in the corner of his eye. Glorycall growled as he caught a glimpse of the white speck again, but this time he realized it was a cat. The next thing he knew, he was being pinned down by a white she-cat, who has specks of brown across her fur and purple-blue colored eyes. Skypaw jumped back as the white cat tackled Glorycall. "Your lucky I’m the one who caught you, you four are standing right smack dab on the Lunarclan border yah know." she hissed, her violet eyes blazing. Glorycall curled his lip over in distaste and shoved the medicine cat off of him. "What do you want?!" snowstorm turned around, "what's going on here?!? She only could see tufts of fur, blood, and somewhat the figure of Glorycall and the white cat. Snowstorm sniffed the air, but couldn’t smell any clan scent; she turned to smell where she smelt before, "Lunarclan? no, no...it cant be, my nose must be acting up again..." she said to herself as she sniffed again, "why do i keep smelling Lunarclan around me?" she asked, getting closer to where the two cats were fighting, and sniffed the white cat. "Lunarclan! It’s a Lunarclan cat? But why?" she thought. It was then that Glorycall recognized the Lunarclan cat as she hissed back at Snowstorm. "We’re not all dancers and sugarplums sweetie! Lunarclan a whole lot tougher than you ever thought." snapped the white and brown she-cat. "You’re the Lunarclan medicine cat, Rivetfall!" said Glorycall, quite shocked that Rivetfall of all cats was so defensive. "Is everything alright?" he said, frowning and stepping back as the Lunarclan cats pelt fluffed up. "Why do you care?!" sighed Rivetfall, her tail swishing to the side. "I need to see Smokesong. Immediately. And before you ask, it is none of your business what I’m up to." she added, glaring at Glorycall before shoving past him into Duskclan territory. "Well, excuse ME!" snowstorm whispered, a little louder than she should have, "you don’t need to get an attitude!" when she realized how loud she had been, she thought, "oh, please don’t hear a word I just said!" but then, Glorycall swiftly turned around. "Uh oh!" snowstorm said. "Hush! She’s a medicine cat, so show some respect......even if she does have an attitude." whispered Glorycall lowly, nodding and turning around to catch up with Rivetfall, who was already 5 fox-lengths ahead of the patrol. "Hey!" he hissed, loudly storming up to Rivetfall and managing to slip in front of her, blocking her path. "You can’t just blindly walk into our territory!" he snapped, his ears flattening as Rivetfall snorted. "I’m a medicine cat, remember? I can go wherever I please." she said, her tail twitching in agitation. Glorycall’s pale eyes softened. "Your never this rude.....is your clan really in that much danger if you have to curl your nose up to another clan?" he said, stepping back as Rivetfall froze, her pelt on end. "I’ve...already...told you. It’s not your business to stick your own nose into my own clan! Back off, fox dung!" said Rivetfall slowly, snarling and then shoving past Glorycall. Completely in utter shock, Glorycall turned to his patrol. "Uh...we should get going." he said, and after a few moments of silence he turned around, beckoning with his tail for Skypaw, Spiderflame, and Snowstorm to follow. "Wow...she has an even bigger temper than me, and that’s saying something. I thought she was nice?" said Spiderflame to no one in particular, looking to the side in contrast as Glorycall sighed in exasperation. "I thought she was nice to, but it seems that she's grown a very short temper...." snowstorm whispered as she started walking. Skypaw frowned. "We weren't out for very long..." he grumbled quietly. He hesitantly followed the patrol. "i thought that all medicine cats were nice..." he quietly responded. Duskstar looks up from her den and gets up to go outside. She exits the den to see Glorycall and the patrol with a white cat. She pads toward Glorycall. "Why is Rivetfall here?" asked Duskstar. Glorycall shrugged and looked up at Duskstar, his golden colored ears pricked. "I don’t know.....the fur ball wouldn’t tell us." he said, glaring at the spotted medicine cat. Rivetfall pursed her lips, and she hid her fear by hissing and storming over to Smokesong. “I did not come here to speak with a leader. I am deeply sorry Duskstar, but this is strictly medicine cat business only." Rivetfall said quickly, lashing her tail. Duskstar glared at Rivetfall and Smokesong going into the medicine den. "Well, if its Medicine cat business, then I shouldn’t be worrying to much considering I’m not that kind of leader that gets into everyone’s business" she meowed. She went back in her den to still think. Rivetfall found Smokesong`s den by locating the tang of herbs wafting from its opening, and she padded inside and beckoned Smokesong to follow. Once she was inside, however, she was greeted by a curious mew. "Hey! Your a Lunarclan cat; why are you here?" asked Rosepaw from her corner, looking up from the pile of herbs at her feet. Rosepaw’s whiskers drooped when she noticed Smokesong follow in stealthy behind the brown and white she-cat, and she sighed. "Oh no! Medicine cat drama!” The ginger she-cat said, her green eyes wide, and she quickly padded out of her nest and slipped out of the den, padding over to the group that was quietly forming around the dawn patrol and sitting down. Smokesong`s pupils grew to slits. "What is it..." she growled nervously.”Have you seen anything?" she quivered. Rivetfall sighed and shook her head. "You must come! Something has happened at the Moontree, something terrible! You must come quickly; all the medicine cats are there. Miststar has come to, but I haven’t an idea how she knew to come there..." mewed Rivetfall, trailing off when she got to Miststar and then looking back up when Smokesong didn’t reply. "Oh just come on!” Rosepaw sighed and flattened her ears down; truly so bored of what the group gathered around the down patrol was talking about that she could feel it aching in her bones. Geez, just because we have a medicine cat from another clan visit us, everyone gets so crazy. It’s not that big of a deal, she thought, sighing and then turning around to glare at the medicine cats den. I wonder if I should just walk in there....Rosepaw growled and turned back to the group, her eyes now chips of green. Nope. That would be rude. Smokesong thought for a moment. "Okay, lets go." she padded quickly out of the medicine den before Rivetfall could even reply. "Rosepaw, watch the medicine den for me. I don’t want any wandering kits getting in there..." she walked toward Miststar’s den. Out in the clearing, Skypaw sighed and padded over to the fresh kill pile. as he bit into a squirrel, Stormykit and Mistykit came running from the apprentices den. He narrowed his eyes. "What were you two doing in there?" he called. The kits stopped running and turned to look at him. Stormykit spoke first. "We were...uh..." she looked at her feet.”We were seeing what the apprentices den looked like and was going to ask an apprentice if we could sleep there but no one was in there so..."Mistykit spoke. Skypaw smiled. "You’re going to have to ask Duskstar about that." he laughed. The kits looked at each other. "Come with me." he stood up and padded toward the leaders den. the kits hesitantly followed. Skypaw sat down at the entrance. "She’s in there." he pointed his tail inside. Stormykit and Mistykit starred wide-eyed. He smiled. "How about you wait for your apprentice ceremony instead." he offered. The kits made a relieved looks on their faces. "go back to the nursery where you cant get in trouble." the kits ran back to their mother. 'Kits!' he rolled his eyes. Duskastar’s ears pricked up and looked back. She spotted the two kits walking away and saw Skypaw. She then heard Skypaw say 'wait till the apprentice ceremony' so she knew the kits wanted to ask something but wanted to wait so she turned back around and still thought. Duskstar thought of all the names. She turned around and peeked out of her den. She then saw Smokesong and Rivetfall come out of the den and paced towards the exit. She then knew something is up and it was medicine cat business so she knew it is important for Smokesong to go do that. Now it makes her wonder if she should do the ceremony even without the medicine cat?
Rivetfall padded quickly throughout the Duskclan forest, her mouth open so that she could smell her way back to the tree. The crisp and cold Duskclan forest around her was making her uneasy, and she found herself slipping on frosted grass every once and awhile. It’s going to be a relief to get out of here, she thought, her ears flicking up when she caught a glimmer of water from inside a tree. A small head popped up from inside the big den in the bark, and the figure quickly started padding towards them. "Hey!" shouted Miststar, quickly running towards them and then ushering them inside. "Get in quickly! Why are you so late?" hissed the blue-gray she-cat, her icy blue eyes smoldering from annoyance. Miststar glanced around at Rivetfall, and the brown spotted she-cat nodded, and then she turned back to Smokesong. "First off, you mustn’t tell anyone about this. If Duskstar knew, she would go berserk!" said the she-cat in a low voice, her blue eyes wide. She then turned to the bright pool sitting in the middle of the tree. It was reflecting a deep blue of the stars, and it sat in a slight dip in the sandy den of the tree roots. Miststar breathed on the pool, slightly ruffling the water as a billow of fog grew into the air, and where she had breathed, the water surely but slowly started to turn into ice. But right before it turned hard, the ice caught on fire, and the fire spread, but in a delicate way. It was blue, with a slight green tinge to it, and it spread around the ice in a way that carved intricate designs and a few words into the pools slab. Miststar looked at the designs on the pools slabs, her blue eyes at first curious but then knitting into a deep frown. "I don’t understand this." she said bluntly, swinging her head up to look at Smokesong and Rivetfall with clouded eyes. "Let me see." mewed Rivetfall softly, lightly moving the blue she-cat out of the way so that she could get a glance out of the pool. Rivetfall’s violet eyes soon grew cloudy too, and she said the same thing. "What is this?" she said, standing back and shaking her head as if she couldn’t believe what she had seen. When she had looked at it, it felt as if she was light-headed. At first, light seemed to poor from the indents on the slab, and then slowly that light turned to fog, then shadows, and surely but slowly, a blasting heat. But when the heat had stopped, the tablet hadn’t melted or anything. On the tablets were indents, which looked like small pictures, with only a few words printed below. On the far left side, up high, was the picture of a sun. It had a swirl running through it, and underneath this picture were the words 'The spirit of the wind'. Next to that picture, almost intertwined with it, was the picture of some bramble, or thicket. This picture had no words with it, accept for the one piece of bramble that was intertwined with the swirl that connected to the sun. On that piece of bramble was the word 'stricken'. Next to the thicket, a little ways off, was a picture of some stream of some sort, a river. Next to that was the picture of a tree, its branches twisting and twining over each other in a stumble, as if to reach out towards the river. Above the tree was a picture of a cloud, which looked a little ways stretched over, and underneath that was a skinner tree, with pale bark looking like it was being stretched over by the soft inner bark within. Besides the picture of thin tree was the picture of what looked like a blackened rose, which was slowly turning back to its normal rosy red in the middle. Besides the picture of the rose was the picture of snow falling, which was so clouded that it looked like it was clumped together in a storm. The last one, which was bigger than most of them saying it was two pictures intertwined, was the picture of a bright, purple dawn, that signaled a new day, around the picture of the dawn were tendrils, that were twisted in such a way that you had to squint to make them out.
Glorycall poked his head out of the warriors den, wincing and ducking back down as the bright sun blazed on. If the sun keeps on keeping this heat up, all the melting snow is going to flood our territory, he thought, his tail flicking to the side in worry.
