Sunwind layed down in her cave on her bed of feathers and dirt, enjoying the softness of it. She flicked her ear and sighed at the sound of the water falling down from the pointed rocks on the roof, hearing the drip-drip-drop-drip of the pointed rocks. Sunwind pricked her ears and opened her eyes, her sensitive ears and nose telling her that a cat was approaching. ''Sun that beams on wind? May I come in Healer?'' asked the cat. Sunwind narrowed her eyes. ''You may come in, Black Leaves That Sway On Water. What is it you wish to speak of?''she asked. The large black tom padded inside her underground cave, and he sat down. Sunwind sat up, and she waved her tail. ''You may speak, Blackwater.'' said the healer. ''I have heard there are cats who wish to attack us.'' murmured the tom, his gaze looking from one cave wall to another, as if to see if any other cat were listening. Sunwind laughed. ''You as well know no cat would attack us, with our battle skills!'' she snorted. ''Healer, these cats can fight just about as well as us!'' insisted Blackwater, his dark amber eyes flashing. ''You know this, how?'' asked Sunwind, her eyes narrowing. Was her tribe-member and one of her crater-protectors spying on other cats?! ''I have seen there rippling pelts, there eyes flashing with anger, there claws sliding out immediatly when they saw me! I have seen them working out there-there plans on top of Great tree! You have to believe me healer!'' mewed Blackwater hurriedly, his eyes flashing with worry and his claws digging into the ground. ''Blackwater, I have to think about this! I cant just bring all of my tribe to another place just so we wont get attacked!'' said Sunwind, standing up in a flash and managing to hiss this out. ''I never said we should move, Sunwind! I`m saying we should attack them first, that way it will be a surprise, and so less of our cats will get killed.'' said Blackwater, his eyes growing wide with each word. Sunwind narrowed her eyes into emerald slits, and then her eyes grew wide. ''Show me the cats, Blackwater.'' she said quickly. Blackwater dipped his head, and padded out of the den. Sunwind quickly followed him out, and soon they were in the Spike Forest. Once they got to the Great Tree, a huge pine-tree which was the biggest one in all of there land, they began to climb it, digging there claws into the bark and clawing there way up, both on opposite sides of the tree to balance it up. Sunwind peered over her shoulder, and gasped at what she saw. She could see everything over two mountain lengths, but that wasnt what made her gasp. There was a group of cats, but they were big. From here, she could see pale and dark pelts, some bristling and some just pawing at an unknown force. What was puzzling, was that one group of cats was apart, while two were joining together. ''You were right, Blackwater. We have to stop them before they kill us all, even though i do regret this.....alot.'' mewed Sunwind sighing. They both climbed down, and Blackwater looked at her. ''Shall I gather all the cats? When will we set out for the savages?'' he asked. ''Yes, and we will set out once we have everybody in a group, kits and mothers in the center, and crater-protectors on the outside. And there not savages, Blackwater; I shall talk to them before we attack. You know well i want the best for my tribe, and i will avoid any attacks if i can.'' she mewed this, and Blackwater ran back to camp, his long tail streaming out behind him. Am i being fooled, Tribe of endless hunting? she thought looking up at the sky. There was no turning back now.
