Spiderflame flicked her tail, prodding both Lilypaw and Mosspaw in the sides with her claws. The sun had just risen; the sky above them was a bright purple, which was fading away to a faint sky blue. "Hey, you two! Wake up!" hissed Spiderflame. "Your on the Dawn patrol with me, Flowercall, Skyfoot, and Checkerspelt, so up up up!" she called. Owlpaw, the only other apprentice in the den, was nowhere to be seen. Probably out hunting, she thought.

"I'm coming!" said Lilypaw, shaking her fur out and following Spiderflame out of the Apprentices Den, leaving Mosspaw in the dust. "Hey, you know where Owlpaw is?" she inquired as the padded over to Skyfoot, Flowercall, and Checkerspelt. "No...." Ssid Spiderflame, trailing off. ----------------------------
Owlpaw stared down at the lake, his green eyes glittering. After training carefully in the dark forest with Palepaw for what seemed like hours- for he still had a sprained paw that is- he had finally woken up, a bit earlier than usual. Earlier, when he was just an early apprentice, he had found a hidden pond, as big as a lake, in one of the mountains on Duskclans territory. Beautiful flowers, some wildflowers, some daisies, and even some sunflowers lay amidst the field infront of the pond, filling the clearing with color. Jasmine vines hung startingly among the pine trees in the clearing, and fresh green moss hung from the flower filled vines themselves. This, he thought, gave the clearing an eerie, heavenly feeling; as If the pond itself was an ancient, beautiful secret, that no one had found but him. For this, he called the place Jasmine Lake, for whom ever walked into the clearing, once smelling the aroma if the jasmine, would feel immediately cheerful. Owlpaw came here whenever he needed to sort things out, or if he needed energy.... And right now he needed both.

"Why did you ask her, she wouldn't know, probably. She's not a stalker for Owlpaw." Mosspaw said smiling and joking a bit as she caught up with them.

Lilypaw almost hissed, until she remembered that she was supposed to be 'fake friends' with Mosspaw. It had been almost a moon ago when they had made that pact, and when she had sprained Owlpaws paw; she had hoped he had forgotten, for she knew in another moon or two their warrior ceremonies would be upon them. Still she played along, laughing. "Hah hah, yah your right."
----------------------------------
Owlpaw layed down, avoiding the stem of a sunflower next to him. He leaned forward, a mouselength from the water infront of him. It washed at his paws, filling his nose with the scent of rainwater. Hesitating, he thought for a moment, before he slowly touched the water with his nose. Ripples went out from his nose, sending waves across the water. He had seen cats do this before when they needed help; this, he needed now. Almost instantly he felt weak; drowsy and tired.

"Do you miss him?" she whispered to Lilypaw."I just hope he's okay....." she worried."Well, lets go and get this patrol over with." she sighed and went with them.

"Yes." Lilypaw said, but she nodded and followed after Mosspaw into the bare snowy forest, the rest of the patrol struggling to catch up with both she-cats.

Skyfoot followed the patrol. the snow crunched softly under his white paws. he wished the green leaves would return again. he crawled through the trees, smelling a bird. he spotted the blue jay through a holly bush. she`readied himself and leaped over the bush and bit the birds neck. he dragged it back to the rest of the patrol.

Owlpaw opened his eyes, shocked to find himself in the middle of a moor. He yawned the shook out his fur, freezing when a startling voice sounded behind him. " Hello, Owlpaw!" welcomed a she-cat, whose white pelt shone underneath the stars. " Come, sit down! There are a few things I need to speak to you about." she said, patting the space besides her. Owlpaw hesitated before sitting down besides her. " Sooo why am I here?" he asked. The she-cat sniffed. " You asked for guidance, not me!" the she cat then leaned in towards him, much closer than he would have liked a stranger to. "Now, Listen to my words carefully, young one. Conflict will break out among the clans, forcing each cat to choose a side. When that shall happen, you must decide weither you choose the light- hearted, or the shadow- guarded." she grinned then sat back, her lips pursed. " Good luck, Owl- Keeper. Choose your path well. I twas not supposed to tell you this, but if your hurt us unavoidable then so Is mine." she then huffed, and Owlpaws world went almost deathly black as he wondered who she was talking about.

Mosspaw had her concerns about Owlpawl right now but, she knew she had to focus on hunting. She had been in Duslclan for a moon and by now they expected her to bring back just as much prey as her clanmates.'It's kina wierd that Owlpaw is gone almost every morning when I get up. I wonder where he goes anyway......' Mosspaw thought curiously as the rest of the.group padded up.

Owlpaw woke up with a start, instantly shooting up forwards and accidentley shoving himself into the water. Spitting, he hissed and drew backwards out of the lake, scrabbling on the sand and then spreading salt-tasting droplets on the flowers around him. He groaned as a painful headache pounded in his ears, and he shook his head. Great. That she-cat made me even more confused!, but sighing, he shook his head out and left the lake clearing, padding throughout the bitter-cold forest while trying not to shiver from his damp pelt.

"Glad you caught up, and caught a mouse." Mosspaw said not looking at them. She smelt mouse and saw a hole in the ground."Awh!All the prey is in its holes'. Or at least with my luck most of it is." Mosspaw complained.

Owlpaw slipped underneath tree roots and bushes, accidentley dragging his scent everywhere but determined to get the water off of himself as he padded along. He almost, infact, jumped right out into the dawn patrol, but he hastily swerved to the side. I should get back to camp anyways, he thought. Once he got to the camp and past the guards, he returned to his nest with a tired flick of his tail, enjoying the quietness of the den as he closed his eyes to sneak in a few more minutes of sleep before everyone else woke up.
